1. Controller

The controller for the processing of your personal data is CodeSpark Tech B.V. (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at info@codesparktech.nl. Our full company details are listed in the colofon.

2. What data we process

We process personal data only where necessary, including:

  • Contact data you provide via our contact form or by email — name, email address, company name and the contents of your message.
  • Technical data automatically generated when you visit the site — IP address, browser type, device and pages viewed — to the extent strictly required to deliver and secure the site.
  • Consent data recording your cookie/analytics choice (see our cookie policy).

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide our services — performance of a contract or steps taken at your request (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To secure and maintain our website — our legitimate interest in a safe, functioning site (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To place non-essential analytics or marketing cookies — only with your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Retention

We keep personal data no longer than necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Enquiry correspondence is retained for the duration of our contact and a reasonable period thereafter; statutory administration is kept for the legal retention period (generally seven years under Dutch tax law).

5. Recipients and processors

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with service providers (processors) that host our website or email, who act only on our instructions under a data-processing agreement. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access, rectify or erase your personal data;
  • restrict or object to processing;
  • data portability;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.

To exercise these rights, contact info@codesparktech.nl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

7. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss and unlawful processing. If you believe your data is not adequately secured, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version always applies and is dated above.
